The Arpac Group Introduces Hanagata Automatic L-Sealer and Vision Shrink Tunnel

January 27, 2003 - Schiller Park, IL - The Arpac Group will feature the versatile Hanagata Z-Series automatic L-sealer and
Vision Series shrink tunnel at West Pack 2003, Booth # 2098. At speeds up to 40 packages per minute, the Hanagata intermittent motion automatic L-sealer is compact in design and provides a cost-effective shrink wrapping solution for all industries. Producing fully enclosed shrink-wrapped packages, this machine features quick product changeovers through simple hand crank adjustments.

The Hanagata also offers a host of competitive advantages:
o User-friendly, text-driven control panel stores up to 10 different product parameters for fast and repeatable set-up.
o Innovative pinch roller gently pulls the "raw" shrink film ahead of the seal bar, virtually eliminating film breaks and costly downtime.
o The stroke limiting adjustable seal height centers the seal for enhanced product appearance and faster production speeds.
o Guillotine style seal head creates a consistent seal for all product profiles

Typical applications include, videotapes, printed materials, knockdown boxes and a host of retail packages and other
products. The Model 10Z accommodates packages from 1.5 to 15" wide X 4 to 18.5" long X .25 or 6" high, while the Model
30Z accommodates packages from 1.5 to 19" wide X 4 to 26.5" long X .25 to 6" high.

The Arpac Group will also be featuring their stand-alone Vision Series shrink tunnel, the perfect compliment for the automatic
L-Sealer. The Vision Series shrink tunnel features a convection-style heating system, providing a uniform shrink. The double
insulation ensures consistent shrinkage and energy efficiency, while the viewing window and illuminated shrink chamber
allows instant quality control. The Vision Series shrink tunnels can also be customized to product specifications.
