February 3, 2003 - Nd:YAG Models LW300A and LW400A offer average output power from 300–400 W. They feature real-time power feedback, 20-segment pulse shaping, power ramp-up and ramp-down, and removable touchscreen-controlled pendant. Up to 4 built-in fiber outputs can be configured in Time Share and/or Energy Share modes so critical applications can be addressed using one or more workstations located up to 30 m apart. Lasers provide deep penetration, hermeticity, and high repetition rates.

New LW300A and LW400A-Series Lasers Provide Superior Control Over the Laser Welding Process

MONROVIA, CA -January 13, 2003- Unitek Miyachi is pleased to announce the release of its new LW300A and LW400A pulsed Nd:YAG lasers designed specifically for high-speed seam and spot welding applications that require deep penetration, hermeticity, and high repetition rates. With average output power ranging from 300 to 400 Watts, these state-of-the-art lasers provide exceptional pulse energy, and feature real-time power feedback, 20-segment pulse shaping, and power ramp-up and ramp-down, which, together, provide the user with exceptional weld process control, repeatability and uptime.

Designed to fit both your application and budget, these lasers feature a removable touch-screen controlled pendant and up to 4 built-in fiber outputs which can be configured in Time Share and/or Energy Share modes so the most critical applications can be addressed utilizing one or more workstations located up to 30 meters apart.

Unitek Miyachi manufactures a comprehensive range of high peak power pulsed Nd:YAG laser welders and markers from 3kW to 7.5kW. The company also provides both standard and custom workstation systems with CDRH Class I enclosures, options for multi-axis motion control, vibration isolation, inert gas glovebox systems, CCTV vision, laser control software, and a wide range of standard laser welding beam delivery components and accessories. Applications Development services are available at no charge for assessing weld feasibility.
