Hot-Melt Applicators cover large areas with adhesive.

January 30, 2003 - Handheld, pneumatic, spray applicators dispense adhesive in 1.75 in. diameter areas. Hysol® 175-SPRAY achieves 180°C temperatures for dispensing EVA hot melts, while Hysol® 175-SPRAY-HT achieves 195°C temperatures for polyamide hot-melt dispensing. Both 500 W units feature adjustable flow controls and automatic end-of-cycle purge. Dispense rate is controlled by 45-100 psi air pressure, and timing is restricted with trigger mechanism.

Henkel Loctite Offers Pneumatic Spray Hot Melt Applicators

Rocky Hill, Conn. - January 16, 2003.... Henkel Loctite offers two patented, industrial grade, hand-held pneumatic spray applicators for dispensing 1.75-inch diameter areas with hot melt adhesives. Loctite® Hysol® 175-SPRAY and 175-SPRAY-HT applicators rapidly cover large areas with adhesive, replacing duct tape, staples, beads of adhesive, and other fastening techniques.

The Hysol 175-SPRAY unit achieves 180°C temperatures for dispensing EVA hot melts, while the Hysol 175-SPRAY-HT unit achieves 195°C temperatures for polyamide hot melt dispensing. Both 500-watt units feature adjustable flow controls to tailor spray patterns and patented spray technology for small or large spray patterns. The units are lightweight, well balanced, and ergonomically designed for operator comfort and application control. Pneumatically powered actuation reduces operator fatigue.

Hysol 175-SPRAY applicators offer automatic end-of-cycle purge to prevent nozzle clogs, a high melt rate for maximum output, and a fixed precision thermostat temperature control for consistent heating. The applicator's heater housing is completely enclosed for maximum safety. By using the applicator's air flow control, the spray pattern can be varied from a narrow to a wide spiral pattern. Dispense rate is controlled by the 45 to 100 psi air pressure control, and timing is restricted with the trigger mechanism.
