VISTAGY Demonstrates Latest Version of EnCapta Software at NDES, Booth 6914

VISTAGY (Waltham, MA) develops software that integrates with CAD systems to create specialized engineering environments. VISTAGY serves over 120 customers worldwide in the aerospace, automotive, marine, and sporting goods industries. New EnCapta™ software enables engineers to capture, structure, and communicate the non-geometric design data that are vital for complete product definition and links this information with features of the geometric CAD model. EnCapta’s data templates are readily customizable, and its XML tools share information with applications throughout the enterprise, such as PDM systems, databases and software for quality assurance. VISTAGY’s flagship product, FiberSIM, is a suite of CAD-integrated software for designing and manufacturing products made of composite materials. FiberSIM automates design and analysis and generates manufacturing information including documentation, flat patterns, and data to interface with laser projectors, automated cutters and fiber placement machines.
