January 28, 2003 - Model MSTM-S3-IT3 acts as complete system clock module for Stratum 3 timing applications in accordance with GR-1244, Issue 2 and GR-253, Issue 3. It is suitable for remote or external locations where environment is not controlled. Operating temperature range is -40 to +85°C. Five volt, miniature module provides 40 second, filtered hold over history; operational status flags; and redundant 8 kHz references. It is useful for SONET, TDM, SDH, and PDH applications.

Connor-Winfields’ MSTM-S3-IT3 Stratum 3 Timing Module Operates at the Industrial Temperature Range

Connor-Winfield’s MSTM-S3-IT3, which operates at the Industrial Temp Range of –40° to 85°C, is new in a family of Simplified Control Timing Modules. As in all of the MSTM-S3-T2 products, the MSTM-S3-IT3 is an efficient design for Stratum 3 clocks in a timing card application.

The MSTM-S3-IT3 acts as a complete system clock module for Stratum 3 timing applications in accordance with GR-1244, Issue 2 and GR-253, Issue 3. Unlike its existing family of products, the MSTM-S3-IT3 is designed for use in remote or external locations where the environment is not controlled. This Stratum 3 timing module is Ideal for SONET, TDM, SDH and PDH applications; including switches and routers.
