January 24, 2003 - Model VM4018 16-channel analog comparator/interrupter provides up to 48 comparator/interrupter channels in single VXI slot. DAC provides reference voltage for each comparator channel. Flexible interrupt feature can be configured to initiate other events autonomously through TTL trigger lines, or interrupt processor. Programmable debounce circuitry eliminates false failures by preventing erroneous readings within user-defined limits.

Precision 16-Channel Analog Comparator/Interrupter
Today VXI Technology introduced their VM4018, a precision 16-channel analog comparator/interrupter that further enhances their VMIP family of high-density modular instrumentation. The VM4018 can provide up to 48 precision comparator/interrupter channels in a single VXI slot.
The VM4018 can accurately detect and respond to level changes over a wide range of voltages. A precision DAC provides the reference voltage for each comparator channel, resulting in accuracies greater than 10X over competitive products. Input ranges can be individually selected from ±1V to ±250V. The flexible interrupt feature can be configured to initiate other events autonomously through the TTL trigger lines, or interrupt the processor. Another valuable feature is the programmable debounce circuitry that eliminates false failures by preventing erroneous readings within user-defined limits.
