Integument Technologies Offers Fluoropolymer Paint Replacement Films for Clean Areas of Ships

Tonawanda, N.Y. - Integument Technologies, Inc., a science-based developer and manufacturer of engineered fluoropolymer systems of linings, films and coatings, announces the availability of FluoroGrip™ fluoropolymer linings made of DuPont Teflon® for use as an impervious protective coating in clean areas of ships such as kitchens, hospitals, showers-restrooms, and crew living quarters. The linings are also ideal for protecting clean-room areas, storage tanks, and other structural components on board the ship.

FluoroGrip® linings are produced in rolls of film and offer the ease of "peel-and-stick," wallpaper-like installation. They have no VOC's or hazardous solvents so they are safer to apply over a wide variety of substrates including steel and metals, without
disrupting ongoing operations and personnel. FluoroGrip® linings are simply cut to match the size of the area to be protected and can be installed in a single application process with minimal training required, saving on labor and downtime. The films offer
excellent adhesion for reliable service and their non-stick Teflon® surfaces are easily cleaned, with superior chemical resistance compared to traditional coatings - to withstand repeated cleanings. With outstanding elongation properties, the installed linings remain effective over expanding and contracting and flexing substrates.
