Grader provides accurate sizing of fruits and vegetables.

December 12, 2002 - Precision Size Grader offers 95% efficiencies within 1/64 in. at capacities exceeding 10,000 lb/hr. Unit gently conveys product, minimizing bruising. Indicator system allows on-the-fly adjustability. Because last roller is fixed, each roller moves backwards as adjusting handle is turned at equal distance to create cumulative effect back to infeed roller. Low-maintenance design minimizes need for annual rebuilds.

New Farmco Precision Size Grader Delivers High-Efficiency, Accurate Sizing

Applications: Cut green beans, variety of fruits & vegetables

Key Technology, Inc. introduces the new Farmco Precision Size Grader for high-efficiency, accurate sizing. In-plant testing on cut green beans resulted in 95% efficiencies within 1/64” at capacities exceeding 10,000 lbs. per hour. Designed with a small footprint, the unit helps processors conserve valuable floor space compared and gently conveys product – minimizing bruising.

The new Farmco grader features a highly-sensitive indicator system that allows for precise, on-the-fly adjustability. Because the last roller is fixed, each of the rollers move backwards as the adjusting handle is turned at an equal distance to create a cumulative effect back to the infeed roller.

A robust, low-maintenance design delivers consistent and accurate sizing throughout the production season and minimizes the need for costly annual rebuilds of rotary drum graders. Typical season-end maintenance on the Precision Size Grader may involve little more than changing bearings and a thorough cleaning.

Farmco’s time-tested line of mechanical sizing, separating, sorting, and grading equipment is the newest addition to the Key Technology product lines. The addition of the Farmco line gives the processor more options than ever to fine-tune your plant layout and processing methods to be as efficient as possible. Use our vibratory and rotary equipment for maximized profitable performance.
