December 12, 2002 - EZ-COMPASS-PROBE offers 3 axes and tilt and temperature compensation. Magnetometer compass measures 8.3 in. and has 1.25 in. diameter. Waterproof probe transmits heading, pitch, roll, magnetic field, and temperature over RS232 or RS422 ports. Compass measures tilt angles up to ±75 arc-deg and includes hard and soft iron calibrations. Applications include directional rock drilling, antenna monitoring, logging, and bore hole profiling.

Logging Compass Probe

EZ-COMPASS-PROBE a three axis Magnetometer-Compass with tilt and temperature compensation is the newest addition to the extensive line of navigation and angle measurement devises produced by Advanced Orientation Systems, a NJ based electronics and sensor manufacturer. The 8.3” long by 1.25”diameter water proof probe transmits heading, pitch, roll, magnetic field and temperature over RS232 or RS422 ports. Compass measures tilt angles up to +-75 arcdeg and includes hard and soft iron calibrations. Major uses include directional rock drilling, antenna monitoring, logging, bore hole profiling, among others.
