3M(tm) Radial Bristle Brushes are a powerful tool for cleaning and finishing in hard-to-reach areas, around protrusions and bosses, or into detail grooves and patterns. Now, in addition to the 2" and 3" diameter products, Radial Bristle Brushes from 3M are available in a larger 6" size to accommodate an even wider range of applications.
Constructed with abrasive-filled bristles, these brushes apply a continuous, fresh supply of sharp mineral to the workpiece. This provides a more uniform finish, while being extremely gentle to the base material and surrounding details. The thin, flexible bristles also allow for excellent conformability to problem sanding areas with no loose-flying wires.
Available in various color-coded grades for ease of use, these brushes are ideal for a wide variety of applications: cleaning, deburring, finishing and polishing detailed or shaped parts; lightly deburring aluminum parts for aerospace and electronics applications; deflashing plastic parts; sanding, defuzzing and shaping wood items; or restoring a clean bright appearance to brass and aluminum fixtures on site. And, depending on part size or surface area, several may be stacked into different widths to further improve productivity.
In performance tests, Radial Bristle Brushes from 3M have shown increased cut, longer life, and better loading resistance than other abrasive products. Soft, yet tough, these brushes are proving that those hard-to-reach areas are well within their grasp.
