Grinding Fluid suits high-speed, creep-feed operations.

December 6, 2002 - Synthetic emulsion, SyntiloŽ XG 100 is formulated for grinding ferrous metals as well as nickel and titanium alloys. Extremely bioresistant, Syntilo XG 100 decreases problems associated with dirty, rancid soluble oils by resisting micobial attack in high contamination situations. It has low propensity to foam when applied through high-pressure nozzles, and remains clean running in hard water conditions.

Castrol Launches Synthetic Emulsion Grinding Fluid

Castrol Industrial Americas is proud to introduce the innovative
Castrol SyntiloŽ XG 100, a premium synthetic emulsion for high-speed, creep-feed and other difficult grinding operations.

Castrol Syntilo XG 100 is formulated for grinding ferrous metals, as well as nickel and titanium alloys. Castrol Syntilo XG 100 provides a high degree of boundary and extreme pressure lubrication. Its outstanding lubrication properties enable high feed rates which in turn reduce cycle time upwards of 20%. Castrol Syntilo XG 100 also minimizes dressing rates to extend wheel life, including expensive super-abrasive wheels.

Castrol Syntilo XG 100 is extremely bioresistant. It significantly decreases problems associated with dirty, rancid soluble oils by resisting microbial attack in high contamination situations. Unlike conventional soluble oils, Castrol Syntilo
XG 100 maintains emulsion stability. In hard water conditions, Castrol Syntilo XG 100 remains clean running and does not produce oily residues. Plus, Castrol Syntilo XG 100 has a low propensity to foam when applied through high-pressure nozzles.

Castrol Industrial Americas is the marketing division of Castrol Industrial North America Inc, a subsidiary and leading lubricants brand of BP p.l.c. BP is one of the world's largest energy companies and a leader in the exploration and production of crude oil and natural gas, and the manufacturing and marketing of fuels, lubricants and petrochemicals. BP is also active in gas, power and alternative energy sources such as solar and wind power.
