December 4, 2002 - EM Test Model CWS500D immunity tester contains signal generator, directional coupler, power amplifier, controller, and Windows-based operating software for Automotive, Telecom, and Military applications. Includes GPIB (IEEE 488.2) interface that permits connection of external dual channel power meter for measuring forward power and for monitoring injected RF current. Uses 100 W RF amplifier with frequency response of 10 kHz to 400 MHz.

AR Introduces Fully Self-Contained Simulator for RF Conducted Immunity Testing

Souderton, PA—November 13, 2002—The EM Test Model CWS500D represents the latest technological advancements in RF conducted immunity testing. This fully self-contained, compact simulator contains the signal generator, directional coupler, power amplifier, controller and Windows-based operating software

The CWS500D is ideal for a variety of tests in Automotive, Telecom and Military applications. It can currently be used for ISO 11452-3 TEM Cell testing, ISO 11452-4, SAEJ1113-4 and GM3097/3100 BCI testing and ISO 11452-5 stripline testing.

The user-friendly software makes testing easy. You need only select the standard to be tested and specify which test files are required. The standard software also provides a complete test report, which can be exported to an RTF file or Excel for editing.

The CWS500D comes with a standard GPIB (IEEE 488.2) interface that permits connection of an external dual channel power meter for measuring forward power and for monitoring the injected RF current. It uses a 100-watt RF amplifier with a frequency response of 10 kHz to 400MHz.

All amplifiers, antennas, precompliance test systems, transient generators, power meters, couplers and tripods are backed by a full 3-year warranty.

The CWS500D is sold, serviced and calibrated by Amplifier Research in its Souderton, PA plant. The US price is $33,000.
