Sentech, Inc. Announces the Availability of its 375 Series of Compact AC-operated LVDTs

North Hills, Pennsylvania......Sentech, Inc. announces the availability of its 375 series of compact AC-operated LVDTs. With an outside diameter of only 0.375" (9.52mm), the 375 series LVDT sensors can be used in compact equipment designs and areas with severely restricted space. These units also utilize small diameter, low mass moveable cores, making them well suited for dynamic, high response measurements.

Construction utilizes a composite coil bobbin with stainless steel outer housing. All units utilize epoxy encapsulation for shock and environmental resistance. Units are terminated with #30 AWG Teflon® insulated lead wires, 12" (305mm) long. 375 series LVDT cores are threaded internally with a #1-72 thread to facilitate mounting.

Available in measurement ranges of from ±0.005" (±0.127mm) to ±1.000" (±25.4mm), the 375 series LVDTs lend themselves to a wide variety of applications. Units can operate from 3V rms nominal and frequencies of 400Hz to 20k Hz and are compatible with almost any packaged or chip level LVDT signal conditioner.

Applications include aircraft actuator position, valve spool position, thickness measurements, diaphragm deflection measurements, ATM currency thickness measurement and many others.

Prices start at $91.00 and delivery is from stock.
