Lubricant Combines Superior Wear Properties with Great 'Environments'

October 23, 2002. Digilube Systems, Inc. a leading developer and manufacturer of industrial lubrication equipment and maintenance lubricants, has introduced Ultra-Film, an advanced, thin-film lubricant. Ultra-Film is a high-temperature lubricant that is tactless, and colorless. It was engineered specifically for use on oil-lubricated chains of all types, trolleys, slat-type conveyors and roller chains that are subject to extreme loads (up to 400,000 psi), and temperatures up to 600°F. It is ideal for conveyors which are subject to washers and high-temperature ovens.

Ultra-Film does not contain moly, solids or zinc. It deposits only a clean, semi-dry film that reduces wear, extends conveyor life and lowers maintenance costs. Ultra-Film does not attract airborne pollutants and particulate, so the risk of drippage and parts contamination is substantially reduced.

Ultra-Film provides superior lubrication performance compared to the thin-film lubricants commonly in use. In addition, it eliminates the build-up of deposits and sludge, and the caking found on many finishing and manufacturing conveying systems.

Ultra-Film has excellent thermal stability and adhesion, two important properties which have been unavailable in thin-film lubricants until now. Ultra-Film is compatible with virtually all major automatic lubricating systems. It is supplied in 5-gallon pails and 55-gallon drums. Digilube offers a complete line of conveyor lubrication and cleaning systems and maintenance lubricants.
