Flow Switch offers optional weatherproof enclosure.

November 15, 2002 - Model V8 Vane Operated Flow Switch, with optional aluminum housing, can be mounted in outdoor locations. Flow switch includes chemical resistant, polyphenylene sulfide construction and field trimmable vane with molded trim graduations. Overall length is 13½ in. Applications include HVAC and building automation systems.

Popular Vane Operated Flow Switch Now Offers NEW Weatherproof Option

A NEW low cost weatherproof enclosure option has been added to the popular V8 Vane Operated Flow Switch from Dwyer Instruments, Inc.

Priced at an additional $25.00 for the weatherproof enclosure (the standard V8 Flow Switch is $39.00), the optional housing is constructed of aluminum and allows the V8 Flow Switch to be mounted in outdoor locations in addition to providing an enclosure for wiring connections. Ideal applications include HVAC and building automation systems and other induistrial settings requiring a low cost weatherproof flow switch.

Standard features of the V8-WP flow switch are a field trimmable vane with molded trim graduations and a construction of tough and durable polyphenylene sulfide (equivalent to Ryton®), which has excellent chemical resistance. Overall length is 13-1/2 inches (342.90 mm).
