November 12, 2002 - Inverter/Vector Duty Motors conform to NEMA MG-1-1998 Section 31.4.4.2, and include Class H magnetic wire insulation and IP55 enclosure protection. At speed range of 5:1, they offer constant torque from 60 to 12 Hz. At speed range of 20:1, constant torque ranges from 80 to 4 Hz. Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled motors are UL recognized, CSA approved, and European Union CE Certified. They are designed for demanding applications.

NORD Gear has optimized its motors specifically for demanding applications while yielding superior performance with current inverter drive systems, and enhance the function in non-inverter installations as well.
NORD Inverter/Vector Duty Motors:
• Conform with NEMA MG-1-1998 Section 31.4.4.2,

• Are Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled (TEFC),
• At speed range of 5:1, offer constant torque from 60 Hz to 12 Hz,

• Offer optional speed range of 10:1 with constant torque from 60 Hz to 6 Hz, or speed range of 1000:1 with constant torque from 60 Hz to 0 Hz,
