October 25, 2002 - Minute Man heavy-duty keyway broaches, bushings, and shims cut 1/2, 5/8, or 3/4 in. keyways in 17 bore sizes from 2 to 3 in. Set No. 50 can be used to cut keyways in pulleys, gears, collars, and similar pieces in experimental, maintenance, machine assembly, or limited production work. Broaches are push-type and can be used with hand operated arbor presses or hydraulic presses with adequate throat opening. Other sets are available in range of 1/16 to 3/4 in. in bores from 1/4 to 3 in.

Minute Man Keyway Broach Set Cuts Keyways In Large Bores
Greenfield, MA - A heavy duty set of keyway broaches, bushings and shims designed for cutting 1/2", 5/8" or 3/4" keyways in 17 bore sizes from 2" to 3" is now offered by The duMont Corporation, Greenfield, MA.
Available off-the-shelf from local industrial distributor stock, the No. 50 Set can be used to cut keyways in pulleys, gears, collars and similar pieces encountered in experimental, maintenance, machine assembly, or limited production work. The broaches are push-type and can be used with any hand operated arbor press or hydraulic press having adequate throat opening.
Other sets for cutting keyways in the range of 1/16" to 3/4" in bores from 1/4" to 3" are also available. All sets are furnished complete with high speed steel broaches, bushings and shims, and are packaged in hardwood varnished boxes. Individual broaches and bushings for standard keyways and broaches for cutting square holes are also available from distributor stock. The keyway and hole broaches sets are in addition to the line of individual Minute Man broaches now in wide use.
