October 25, 2002 - Micro/mini brushes are manufactured to exacting tolerances from 0.018 in. dia in materials such as stainless steel, brass, bronze, gold, silver, titanium, and molybdenum. Also manufactured in synthetic fibers (nylon, polyethylene, styrene, Herox®, Tynex®), brushes' bristle materials range in thickness from 0.0025 in. Uniform brush diameters are accurate to ±0.001 in. Brushes are available with or without loop handles, which facilitate turning and handling.

Micro/Mini Brushes as Small as .018” Manufactured by Mill-Rose

Mentor, OH — New "micro/mini" brushes manufactured to exacting tolerances from 0.018" in diameter are now available from The Mill-Rose Company, the nation’s largest manufacturer of twisted-in-wire brushes.

Typically applications include microbiology and cytology sampling, cleaning endoscopes and other medical instruments, deburring and custom-design applications for precision instruments. Mill-Rose micro/mini brushes can be supplied in a full range of materials that include stainless steel, brass, bronze, gold, silver, titanium, molybdenum and other exotic materials, as well as synthetic fibers (nylon, polyethylene, styrene, Herox®, Tynex®). Bristle materials range in thickness from 0.0025" and uniform brush diameters are accurate to ±.001". Loop handles make the micro brushes easy to use and facilitate turning and handling. Brushes are also available without loop handles for power applications.
