Clamp-Type Collars Prevent Dimpling and Crushing

A full line of smooth-bore, clamp-type shaft collars that can be tightened without damaging steel, glass, and acrylic shafts, or thin-wall tubing is available from Stafford Manufacturing Corp. of Woburn, Massachusetts.

Stafford Clamp-Type Collars are offered in one-, two-piece, and hinged styles and feature smooth bores that evenly grip expensive shafts without the gouging, dimpling, or crushing which can result from set-screw types. These non-marring shaft collars are ideally suited for use on stainless steel, plated steel, glass, and acrylic shafts, or thin-wall tubing.

Providing a sure grip and allowing for adjustments without dimpling, Stafford Clamp-Type Collars can be used for a variety of purposes such as end-stops or locating and mounting components. Available in standard bore sizes from 1/8" to 6" I.D., they can be made from stainless steel, steel, and aluminum, and electropolished, plated, and anodized, respectively.

Stafford Clamp-Type Collars are priced according to style, size, material, and quantity. A catalog and price list are available upon request.
