Preventive Maintenance Module adds work-order system that automates scheduling and tracking of maintenance and repairs to assets. The CribMaster system monitors tool inventory and usage, tracks consumption and budget, issues purchase orders either automatically or manually, and includes more than 170 standard reports tied directly to the database. CribMaster’s flexibility means it fits the needs of manufacturers of any size, whether using an attended toolcrib, automated storage, or a combination of both. Still an option with CribMaster 6.0 is the Preventive Maintenance Module, which adds a work order system that automates scheduling and tracking of maintenance and repairs to assets.
CribMaster is an all-inclusive inventory control system that improves manufacturers’ ability to distribute and track tools and
other supplies with accuracy and confidence. The Windows-based software, developed specifically for the manufacturing industry, uses bar coding to tie fast and reliable toolcrib and automated storage and retrieval transactions to a powerful system of inventory control. CribMaster 6.0 includes new features that propel CribMaster to yet another level.
Some of the new features include:
• Group Transfers Transfers can now be grouped to make it easier to move things around.
• Custom time periods CribMaster now supports custom time periods for reporting. You can schedule reports to run when the periods begin and you can have reports include records that correspond to the periods.
• New Export Formats for Reports PDF, XLS8, and Fix: XLS8 generates XLS version 8 format. Fix is used to generate fixed length records. Fix puts no delimiters between fields so you can create the data you want in formulas and write it out without commas or tabs messing you up.
• New option for Max Attachment size for Emails Prevents huge reports from clogging the mail system.
• Report Dialog control CribMaster now gives you control of the reports that are offered by the report dialogs.
• New Report Dialog for Pending Orders Pending order reports. Located just under the PODetail reports on the Purchasing menu.
• EOQ for transfers using different Costs and LeadTime. See Ordering Options tab for the new fields for entering the cost of
processing a transfer and the lead time to use for transfers. This will apply to bins using a StockFromBin, Cribs coded StockFromCrib, and Items coded StockFromCrib.
• Unlimited Security Classes. You are no longer limited to 26 security classes. Create as many as you like.
• Security Enhancements supports a second set of permissions for the Employee’s “Primary Cribs” and CribMaster now supports an unlimited number of security groups.
• Check List for Issuing Item A check list can be required to issue and item.
• Count Transactions CribMaster records Count Transactions when you count a bin even when the count is correct. This aids if resolving bin count differences.
• Over Receives are logged to the Event Log
• Send Report Dialog will display the Fax and EMail address of the first Purchase Order selected when the report is a Purchase Order.
• CmPrint is available to allow CmServer to produce multiple reports at once
• ExportFilename supports tokens This is useful to make a filename unique.
• Computation of Excess for each bin the excess quantity is available for transfer to other bins within the plant.
• Option to transfer Surplus or Excess Quantity to fill bin needs
• Option to calculate durable items based on bin quantity instead of plant quantity on an item by item basis There is
already an option to treat all durable items like this on the Ordering Options page. The new option is available on the More tab for inventory items (Durables only).
• Fill and Kill Option for Transfers You can optionally have a transfer removed when you complete any part of it.
• Separate Retention Period for Purchasing and Transaction data. You can also specify the retention period for Event Log High
Priority items
• Common Numbering for Items CribMaster provides a new item numbering feature that allows for input of item attributes.
