Lubricant maximizes gear and bearing life.

October 18, 2002 - Mobil DTE 21® consists of balanced formulation with additives and low-viscosity base oils. It is specifically designed for high-speed, gear-driven spindle bearings in precision machining centers. Anti-wear and load-carrying ability is demonstrated by its performance in FZG DIN 51534 test, used to estimate lubricant's gear-load carrying capabilities.

ExxonMobil Introduces Mobil DTE® 21 to North American Market

FAIRFAX, VA, August 14, 2002 -- ExxonMobil has introduced Mobil DTE 21 high-performance lubricant to the North American market. Especially designed for machinery with high-speed gear-driven spindles, Mobil DTE 21 is recommended for use by more than 75 original equipment manufacturers of precision machining centers
from around the world. Mobil DTE 21 is now available through all Mobil lubricants distributors throughout the United States.

"Mobil DTE 21 was specifically designed for high speed, gear-driven spindle bearings in precision machining centers," said Jeff Biamonte, Marketing Industry Advisor, ExxonMobil Lubricants and Specialties. "Its balanced formulation -- additives and high quality, low viscosity base oils, enable it to protect gear driven spindles and maximize gear and bearing life.
