September 30, 2002 - BSB Series (metric) and L-Series (inch) Ball Screw Support Bearings provide axial rigidity, coupled with low friction characteristics, to allow attainment of extreme accuracy during rapid position changes at high speeds. Rigidity is achieved through internal design and built-in universal preload. Cage options include reinforced phenolic (L-Series), or molded nylon, glass fiber reinforced polyamide (BSB-Series). Bearings come in standard duplex or quadruplex sets.

Barden Adds to Line of Ball Screw Support Bearings
Inch and Metric Sizes Now Available
Danbury, CT (September 4, 2002)... Barden has expanded its line of precision ball screw support bearings to include both inch and metric sizes. BSB Series (metric) and L-Series (inch) ball screw support bearings provide a high level of axial rigidity - coupled with extremely low friction characteristics - to allow attainment of extreme accuracy during rapid position changes at high speeds. Rigidity is achieved through internal design and a built-in universal preload. All Barden ball screw support bearings are manufactured to achieve longer life at higher running speeds.
Cage options include a reinforced phenolic (standard with L-Series inch bearings), or molded nylon, glass fiber reinforced polyamide (standard with BSB-Series metric bearings). Bearings are available in standard duplex or quadruplex sets. Sealed versions are also an option with some sizes.
