September 23, 2002 - Swing-head Model SHA 1016 offers 60° mitering capability. It has capacities of 10 x 16 in. at 90° and 10 x 8 in. at 30°. Band saw includes 1 in. blade, controlled with carbide guides, preset blade tensioning with power blade-cleaning brush, and fine adjustment of feed control. Machine has 40 in. stroke, parts counter, and 2 hp variable-speed drive.

Scotchman(R) Introduces SHA 1016 Fully Automatic Swing Band Saw
Scotchman® Industries is pleased to announce the addition of the SHA 1016 Band Saw to their Metal Fabricating Solutions. This fully automatic, swing head band saw has 60° of mitering ability, with capacities of 10" x 16" at 90° and 10" x 8" at 30°. The SHA 1016 is made in America, with many standard features and equipment. These include the 1" blade, which is controlled with carbide guides, preset blade tensioning with a power blade cleaning brush and fine adjustment of the feed control. This fully automatic machine has 40" stroke, parts counter and 2 HP variable speed drive. This production band saw combines maximum versatility and longevity, with minimum maintenance.
