August 28, 2002 - Series 902 Piezo Transducer measures absolute pressure from 10-1 to 1,000 Torr. Digital communications are available through RS-485 port including setpoint adjustments and status, analog output selection, pressure reading, measurement units selection, operating time, and transducer temperature. Analog output can be configured to 0-5 Vdc or 0-10 Vdc full scale with either linear or logarithmic signal. Stainless steel construction makes unit suitable for harsh processes.

BOULDER, COLORADO, August 16, 2002—MKS Instruments, Inc. - HPS Products has released the new HPS® Series 902 Absolute Piezo. The CE marked Series 902 is a Piezo sensor with an integrated electronic control circuit, digital communications, analog output and a setpoint as standard features for process control.
Piezo technology allows a wide range of absolute pressure measurement - from 1,000 to 10-1 Torr. The compact, modular nature, simple design, high reliability and low cost of the Series 902 provide the equipment designer maximum flexibility. Digital communications are available through an RS485 port including setpoint feature adjustments and status, analog output selection, pressure reading, measurement units selection, operating time and transducer temperature. The analog output of the Series 902 can be configured to 0-5 VDC or 0-10 VDC full scale with either a linear or a logarithmic signal. The sensor is suitable for harsh processes due to clean, robust design and stainless steel construction.
