Smart Lighted Nameplates Add Value To Switch Panels

WEYMOUTH, MA -Electroswitch introduces its new "Smart" Lighted Nameplate. Designed to be used with a wide selection of Electroswitch switches and relays, the nameplate incorporates up to three indicator LEDs and one output contact into a traditional nameplate footprint. It provides a means to easily monitor and display the status of multiple events and to trigger annunciation or device activation within a system.

Because the new "Smart" Nameplates are prewired and use LEDs, they reduce installation costs, use less energy, and require less panel space than independently mounted incandescent bulbs. The Nameplates can be wired to indicate virtually any event the user wishes to monitor, and can be ordered with or without mechanical targets.

Electroswitch switches currently available with the "Smart" Nameplate include the Series 24 Lock-Out Relays and Breaker Control Switches, as well as the Series 24 and 101 Instrument and Control Switches.

The front-replaceable indicator LEDs are designed for long life (>100,000 hours) and are highly visible over a wide viewing angle from the front of the device. Five colors are available to identify multiple separate functions. The output contacts are "dry contacts" and can be wired as desired by the user.

Electroswitch is the industry leader in the design, manufacture, and marketing of tough, reliable switches, relays, and other electrical systems products for utility, industrial, and military environments. The Electroswitch line of standard products is complemented by the company's proven ability and willingness to modify, custom design, and test their switches and relays for virtually any application. The company takes pride in meeting customer delivery requirements, no matter how stringent.
