Improve Ergonomics Easily and Economically

WATERTOWN, MA -Computer monitors that are positioned awkwardly can cause unnecessary stress on an operator's neck muscles and spinal cord. Production Basics' Gas Assist Monitor Arm is an easy and economical way to improve ergonomics in production facilities and reduce the risk of injuries. Optimal positioning for computer monitors is approximately an arm's length in front of the operator and the top of the monitor should be at eye level or slightly below.

"Operator comfort is so important to productivity. This monitor arm can be installed to a wall, table or desk in anyone's work area and adjusted exactly to the operator's comfort level," says John O'Kelly, Sales and Marketing Manager for Production Basics.

"Improving ergonomics doesn't require an entire facility overhaul. Starting with computer accessories, like the Gas Assist Monitor Arm, reinforces the company's commitment to a safe and comfortable workplace without draining the bank account," says O'Kelly.

The Gas Assist Monitor Arm is adjustable both horizontally and vertically. The support plate for the monitor has a locking tilt function for precise positioning. The manufacturer's suggested retail price is $169.

Gas Assist Monitor Arm Facts:
