Exceptional Bits for Demanding Jobs

HIGHER PERFORMANCE AND LONGER LIFE, EVEN DRILLING THROUGH REBAR

TULSA, (Okla.) July 8, 2002 - Improving on Hilti's industry-leading TE-Y bits, the new Hilti TE-TX and TE-YX bits set new standards for concrete drilling performance and bit life. Hilti patented technology allows these bits to be used for the most demanding concrete drilling applications.

The new TE-TX and TE-YX bits are designed with a new, X-shaped, solid carbide head that not only drills through concrete but also cuts through rebar. Revolutionary cutting edges minimize catching on rebar, thus reducing carbide breakage.

A unique, double spiral fluting provides improved dust removal for faster drilling and greater surface hardness for increased wear resistance. These innovative bits save time and money by providing users with faster drilling, reliable performance and longer life when drilling into reinforced concrete. The new TE-TX and TE-YX bits maintain a faster drilling speed over the life of the bit and can yield up to 50% more holes per bit than other bits on the market. Designed for use in combihammers with TE-T (SDS Top) chucks or TE-Y (SDS Max) chucks, the connection ends on the new TE-TX and TE-YX bits maximize power transmission, minimize strain on the drilling machine and decrease chuck and drill bit wear.

When a demanding concrete drilling application is encountered, count on the Hilti TE-TX and TE-YX bits to get the job, done even when drilling into rebar.
