Frequency Converter provides clean power.
August 12, 2002 - Model P1352 with direct digital synthesizer delivers 1,350 VA of regulated ac power. Voltage fold back during overloads maintains undistorted waveforms. Converter is housed in 3.5 in. high bench top chassis that converts to rack mount. Unit provides adjustable output voltage of 0-135 or 0-270 Vrms over frequency range of 45-500 Hz with vacuum fluorescent display and RS232 port. Push button controls allow setting of volts, frequency, and current limit.

Solid State AC Source with Direct Digital Synthesizer for Measurement and Control
BEHLMAN (Hauppauge, NY) expands the family of low cost, compact, solid state Frequency Converters with the introduction of the P1352. The P1352 delivers 1350 VA of clean, regulated AC power in a single 3.5 inch high bench top chassis, that easily converts to a rack mount unit, for far less than competitive models.
A Direct Digital Synthesizer is used to create the waveform that produces the clean power of a linear supply with the high efficiency and small size of a switching supply. Innovative protection circuitry provides for voltage fold back during overloads to maintain undistorted waveforms. Power output is a maximum of 1350 VA with 100% of the output available into any power factor load.
The P1352 provides for an adjustable output voltage of 0 - 135 VRMS or 0 - 270 VRMS and a frequency range of 45 - 500 Hz. The unit features push button controls to allow manual setting of Volts, Frequency, and Current Limit. The 24 X 2 vacuum fluorescent display allows you to view output Volts, Frequency and Amps plus measurements of Watts and Power Factor. In addition fault indications for Over Voltage, Over Current, Over Temperature, Constant Current and Short Circuit are displayed. The P1352 comes standard with a RS232 interface for remote control and read back of all parameters.
