Stainless Steel ETP Express ™ Shaft Locking Bushings Designed For Food Processing & Dairy Applications

Plymouth, Minnesota: ETP Express (Model R Stainless Steel) keyless shaft locking bushings lock into position gears, pulleys, sprockets and other components on food processing and dairy machinery's power transmission systems.

Providing concentricity to .001 inch T.I.R., these shaft locking bushings are ideal in systems requiring frequent washdowns because they are easily cleaned and won't corrode. They have sealed, clean lines, which resist debris collection and clean easily without any special maintenance.

Ideal for use in tight areas, ETP Express bushings feature just one radial adjusting screw for fast mounting, repositioning and phasing of the components to the shafts. They position in seconds and can be readjusted many times just as quickly and without any axial movement of the bushing or component along the keyless shaft. An Allen wrench is all that is required to mount and lock these bushings into place. They handle torque ranges from 40 to 1500 ft. lbs.

The ETP Express design incorporates a double-walled sleeve filled with pressure medium with only one radial tightening screw that acts as a piston to compress the medium. A solid connection between shaft and hub is formed when the screw is tightened. The hydraulic pressure medium in the sleeve expands, forming a continuous, tight connection between the shaft and mounted component. This unique design with a single adjusting screw makes the ETP Express superior to the mechanical locking bushings where numerous adjusting screws are required and axial movement of the mechanical bushing occurs when these screws are
tightened.

Available in 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45 and 50 mm shaft sizes, stainless steel ETP Express-R bushings are a very cost-effective choice for new and retrofit applications.
