San Jose, Calif., July 12, 2002 - K&R Equipment, Inc., of San Jose, California, announces their new fully automatic PBD Poly Bag Decuffer/Package Top Sealing Machine which mechanically decuffs and progressively folds the poly bag to form a double plastic cover over the product.
This new generation system is designed to provide a cost-effective way to increase the productivity of existing bulk packaging facilities, as well as ease the conversion from manual and semi-automatic operations to high-tech automation. The K&R systems can be used with most weighing and filling machines. It can handle KD case sizes of 24, 32, and 42 inches, with larger capacities available on special order.
The redesigned PBD/PTSM systems are built to increase productivity while keeping downtime and maintenance costs to a minimum. They are ruggedly built and engineered for highest reliability in continuous duty applications. In addition, their compact design conserves valuable floor space. For optimum space utilization, sealer can be located separately. The machine has low power and air consumption and is available in stainless steel and coated models to meet USDA and special environmental requirements.
