SweepEx Magnet Attachment Increases Safety, Reduces Tire Damage

WARREN, Mich. - Intended to increase the capabilities of the product line, SweepEx, a division of TrynEx International, has introduced a new heavy-duty magnetic bar attachment. Able to pick up nails, screws, steel shards and other metal refuse, the magnet helps to increase job-site safety while reducing tire damage on service vehicles.

Attachable to the entire line of SweepEx modular broom attachments, the magnet comes in three lengths: 48-inch, 60-inch and 72-inch. Mounted in an aluminum casing, the magnet is ideal for general construction sites, trucking terminals, shipping facilities and anywhere else metal debris poses a hazard to people and/or equipment. The industrial-strength magnet can pick up debris from as high as five inches from the road or floor surface.

The magnet assembly quickly fastens to the SweepEx broom frame and hangs in front of the bristles using a chain-mount system. This non-rigid mount allows the magnet to readily adjust when encountering obstacles as to not sustain damage during use.

SweepEx is a line of modular broom attachments that can mount to a wide variety of service vehicles. With no moving parts, SweepEx brooms are a simple, low maintenance solution for many cleanup applications. Brooms are available in 48-inch, 60-inch, 72-inch and 90-inch lengths. Broom length extensions are available for all models.

In addition to the magnetic bar attachment, other optional accessories for the SweepEx line include a debris leaf pusher, dustmop, debris collector ends, edge market kit and a wide variety of mounts.
