Zero-Max H-TLC Torque Limiters Prevent System Overloads By Automaticaly Disengaging Power Train Components

Plymouth, Minnesota: Protect expensive drive trains from overload damage with Zero-Max H-TLC torque limiters. These torque limiters have consistent and repeatable disengagement features which will trigger alarms or automatic system shutdown the instant overload conditions occur.

Designed to withstand corrosive environments, these torque limiters will operate reliably in wide temperature ranges. They are an excellent substitute for friction type torque limiters
which, in certain applications, can generate heat and thereby alter disengagement characteristics.

Zero-Max H-TLC torque limiters are adjustable to handle a range of torque settings should changes be needed in a system. Simply adjust the unit's external compression bolts to reset the torque load. The unit also can be set up quickly and easily to trigger alarms or automatic system shutdown by inserting a special actuating disc accessory.

The patented H-TLC design operates on a spring-loaded convex pin and detent design that reacts to overloads but not to contaminants like soil, dirt and lubrication. The unit easily
withstands the effects of salt, pollutants, mild acids, corrosive moisture of all kinds and even oily environments. It is effective in temperatures ranging from -40°F to +180°F.

Models are available to handle torque from 4 inch lbs up to 500 inch lbs. There are six sizes and two models in bore sizes from .250" through 1.000" (7 mm through 25 mm). All are bi-directional.
