Truck Scale provides total weight and weight per axle.

June 24, 2002 - Traxle™ uses measurement acquisition software and sensor polling technology to calculate individual axle weights, plus legal-for-trade gross, tare, and net weights. System automatically calculates total weight and differential of steering, drive, and trailer axles. Four weight values are displayed on WPI-135 indicator and transmitted to printer or other peripherals. Traxle is suitable for aggregate, pulp and lumber, and steel distribution industries.

New Truck Scale System Is the First to Provide Both Total Truck and Weight Per Axle from a Standard Scale

Fairmont, MN-June 10, 2002-Weigh-Tronix, Inc, has introduced Traxle™, the first truck scale that provides both axle weight and total truck weight from a conventional truck scale. Traxle uses patent pending computation and sensor polling technology to quickly and accurately calculate individual axle weights, plus legal-for-trade gross, tare, and net weights in one trip to the scale.

Traxle technology uses measurement acquisition software and innovative sensor polling to calculate both weights on a single scale platform, saving valuable time and reducing capital
investment. To use Traxle, a driver pulls onto the scale for an initial weight reading. The driver then advances the truck a minimum of two feet on the platform where a second reading is
obtained. The system automatically calculates the total weight and differential of steering, drive and trailer axles. The four weight values are displayed on the WPI-135 indicator and transmitted to a printer or other peripherals.

"Traxle is the only system that provides total truck and axle weighing using a conventional truck scale design," says Tom O'Connell, Weigh-Tronix Vice President and General Manager. "By
reducing the number of sensors required by conventional independent axle weighing systems, Traxle users can expect a lower base price, lower installation charges, and lower long-term
maintenance costs. With the Traxle system, haulers can now justify having individual axle weighing capability."

Ideal for aggregate, pulp and lumber, and steel distribution industries. Traxle technology can be incorporated into any Weigh-Tronix model truck scale and can be retrofitted into existing
Weigh-Tronix scale installations.
