Mitutoyo Expands Digimatic Product Line With New DP-1VR Mini Processor

(Aurora, IL) Mitutoyo America Corporation introduces the newest member to their Statistical Process Control family, the DP-1VR Digimatic Micro Processor.

The DP-1VR is a powerful data collector that is able to process 9,999 pieces of data, with a compact design that allows you to hold it in the palm of your hand. With its highly adaptable Data Output Function, the DP-1VR can print data directly from a Digimatic caliper, micrometer and other similar tools. You can even calculate and output statistics anywhere in the factory.

Standard features of the DP-1VR include: measurement data recording and tolerance judgement (GO / ±NG) (mode 0); statistical analysis and histogram (mode 1); 'D-Chart' capabilities (mode 2); and recording of calculation results to develop an X-R control chart (mode 3)

The DP-1VR comes equipped with a built-in thermal line printer, which provides excellent printing speed with virtually no noise. The thermosensitive paper used in the DP-1VR has outstanding durability and chemical resistance for long-term storage of measured data. This new microprocessor can also transmit data directly to a computer using a standard RS232C connecting cable.

With the DP-1VR, Mitutoyo has developed an affordable and effective new tool for plant floor statistical process control.
