Dual Zip Cable combines 5e and shielded coax cable.


June 6, 2002 - CatLink Dual Zip 24/4 pair Category 5e UTP cable is tested to 200 MHz and coupled with quad shielded RG-6 coaxial cable tested to 2.4 GHz. Another version is available that uses dual shielded coaxial cable consisting of foil and 60% braid. Design speeds cable installation and connector termination, while exceeding requirements for Grade 1 cabling of TIA/EIA-570-A Residential Telecommunications Cabling Standard.
