LI-COR Introduces The LI-820 CO2 Analyzer

LI-CORŪ Biosciences introduces the LI-820 CO2 Analyzer, an absolute, non-dispersive, infrared (NDIR) gas analyzer based upon a single path, dual wavelength, infrared detection system. This low cost, low-maintenance instrument is designed for continuous monitoring of CO2 under a wide range of environmental conditions.

The LI-820 features high accuracy over the entire measurement range due to automatic temperature and pressure compensation. It also provides high stability with low zero and span drift as well as user cleanable optical paths which do not require factory recalibration. Two interchangeable optical benches provide a total of four CO2 measurement ranges.

User defined high and low alarms are available as voltage outputs for control of CO2 within a desired range. A choice of analog outputs (Temperature, Pressure, or CO2) are selectable on either of two DAC channels. Linear analog voltage (0-2.5V, 0-5V) and current loop (4-20mA) outputs are available. A removable terminal strip allows easy connection of external recording devices. The XML communication protocol provides complete OEM application integration to the instrument.

LI-COR has long been recognized as a market leader in high quality, portable infrared gas analyzers for environmental research.

LI-COR Biosciences is a leader in the design and manufacture of instrument systems for plant biology, environmental research, and biotechnology. LI-COR instruments for photosynthesis, gas analysis, and light measurement are recognized world-wide for standard-setting innovation in plant science research and environmental monitoring.
