Prismalume(R) Enclosed Luminaires

NEWARK, Ohio (May 15, 2002) –Prismalume® Enclosed luminaires are detailed in a new brochure offered by Holophane. The fixtures include a prismatic glass reflector with tempered glass closure to ensure optimum performance in any application where an enclosed luminaire is required.

A unique balance of uplight and downlight makes Prismalume Enclosed luminaires appropriate for industrial, educational, retail and commercial applications. The fixtures may be used with a full range of lamps and wattages--from 175- to 1,000-watt metal halide and 150- to 1,000-watt high-pressure sodium.

Prismalume Enclosed luminaires are available with five different optics that satisfy a range of lighting distributions and applications. The units are rugged enough to withstand the impact of sports equipment and stylish enough to create the ambiance shoppers desire in a retail setting. They also meet the safety requirements for containing non-passive lamp failures.

Typical applications include production, assembly and inspection areas, warehouses, paper mills, gymnasiums, exposition halls and super malls. The luminaires are available with a choice of factory set optical distributions and mounting options. They are UL and CSA listed for damp location.
