Patented "SAF-T-Step" Provides Easy Access To Pick-Up Truck Cargo Beds
RODON CORPORATION, St. Charles, IL, announces the introduction of their new, Patented pick-up truck accessory product line "SAF-T-Step".
The RODON SAF-T-Step was specifically designed and engineered to provide safe and easy access to the cargo beds of commercial and industrial pick-up trucks and other similar vehicles. The SAF-T-Step features a single step retractable ladder with a removable cautionary hand rail. Mounted in a flat position on the inside of a truck tailgate, the SAF-T-Step manually unfolds into the step position and with the simple release of a pull-pin retracts back into its storage area on the tailgate. The compact design of SAF-T-Step does not minimize valuable truck bed storage space.
Constructed of a durable heat treated cast aluminum alloy that is coated with a special "non-slip "formulated exterior paint, the RODON SAF-T-Step is able to withstand weight loads up to 400 pounds. SAF-T-Step structurally meets and is compliant with the stringent safety codes of the insurance industry and safety regulations specified by the railroad industry. The SAF-T-Step includes a universal mounting kit for simplified installation with an optional second hand rail available through RODON.
