Jul 20, 2012 Designed to cut or trim round or cylindrical parts from rubber, plastic, and composites, specialty machines are based on high-speed rotation principle and constant advance of sharp cutting blade. Such knife blades are available in 3, 5, and 7 in. sizes and in carbide blank, single and double beveled blade, single and double beveled bullet, and round nose carbide tool configurations. Carbide blades are available, as are resharpening services for most blade models.

OD to minimum extrudable size that will fit mandrel and Rheostat-controlled mandrel speed from 0-2,700 rpm.

Oct 20, 2005 Designed to cut rubber with lengths up to 48 in. and diameters up to 12 in., Lathe Cutters feature quick changeover system that cuts knife changeover times down to 10 sec. Knife holder slips over top of carriage and is secured with quick release or disconnect handle. All machines come with spare knife holder that safely holds knife during blade changeover, and device that ensures desired positioning.
