Aug 14, 2014 Refurbished or replacement thermal conductivity detectors (TCDs) are available for Bruker (Varian) gas chromatographs (GCs). Each detector, made of stainless steel and supplied with rhenium-tungsten (WX) filaments as standard, meets original equipment specifications and comes ready to install in legacy Varian GC. Special filaments for reactive samples are available. Corrosion-resistant detectors utilizing nickel, Monel®, titanium or gold-plated thermal conductivity blocks are also offered.

Jun 02, 2014 Employing flame ionization detector (FID), Series 2300 is used to continuously measure concentrations of hydrocarbons in gas streams. Optional catalytic methanizer enables CO and CO2 measurement, and alternative version is available for beverage-grade CO2 applications. Microprocessor-controlled instrument displays concentration in ppm or ppb on graphical LCD touchscreen, which is accompanied by membrane keypad for navigation through settings and functions.

May 22, 2014 Featuring programmable, microprocessor-controlled design, Series 8100 accommodates up to 2 independently controlled detectors that can be operated individually, in series, or in parallel, depending on ordered configuration. Available detectors include thermal conductivity and flame ionization. Operating from ambient +5°C to 450°C, chromatograph features column oven temperature programming rate of 0.1 to 40°/min in 1°C increments and oven cooling rate of 350 to 75°C in 5 minutes.

Features include laminar low volume flow system, hands-free operation, VCR® fittings to ensure leak-free connections, and mass-spec leak tested valves. Analyzers are available with options such as 4-20 mA output, auto zero, and either bench mounted or 19 in. rack mounted for panel installation.

Exposure to atmosphere or high impurity concentrations does not result in damage to analytical cell. Over-range protection eliminates possibility of false readings caused by high impurity plasma quenching.
