Power Cords with Locking System work with existing IEC inlets.

Power Cords with Locking System work with existing IEC inlets.

Schaffner EMC, Inc.    Edison, NJ 08837
May 02, 2013 IL13 series IEC Lock power cords with Japanese PSE approvals can be used for all IEC appliance couplers type C14 or applicable Schaffner IEC inlet filters with type C14 inlet. Rated for currents up to 16 A, IL19 series fits all appliance couplers type C20 or Schaffner IEC inlet filters with type C20 inlet. Locking system withstands tensile forces to 200 N and fulfills IEC domestic appliance and medical electronic device safety requirements without additional traction relief system.

EMC/EMI Filter Modules feature type C14 IEC appliance inlet.

Sep 14, 2012 With 46 mm height, single-stage Model FN9280 and double-stage Model FN9290 feature combined switch and fuse holder unit. Dual pole power switch disconnects all poles of device from mains and can be removed for maintenance. For cabling inside device, IEC inlet filters are available with fast-on tabs or spring cage terminal. Designed for currents from 1–10 A with rated voltage up to 250 Vac, filters have flange mount system with horizontal or vertical mounting holes for front or back mounting.

Harmonic Filters are available for 3-phase, 200 V power grids.

Schaffner EMC, Inc.    Edison, NJ 08837
Sep 14, 2012 ECOsine™ Active products provide system with opposing corrective current immediately, simultaneously compensating harmonics, phase shift, and load-unbalance. Filters dynamically adapt to changing grid and load situations for optimal compensation performance. While FN3420 series with 50 or 100 A of compensation current is designed for 3-wire systems, FN3430 in 4-wire technology can be used for networks with separate neutral conductor (30 and 60 A).

Digital Active Harmonics Filters perform targeted PFC.

Schaffner EMC, Inc.    Edison, NJ 08837
Apr 17, 2009 In addition to providing real-time mitigation of harmonic currents up to 50th order, ECOsine Active Filters immediately compensate for voltage dips and reactive power surges. Units continuously measure and analyze disturbances in power network and provide exactly opposite compensation current, responding in less than ½ ms. Filters are available in 3-phase/3-wire as well as 3-phase/4-wire configurations for 480 and 400 V grids, respectively, and with rated compensation currents from 30-300 A.

IEC Inlet Filters are offered in high attenuation versions.

Schaffner EMC, Inc.    Edison, NJ 08837
Jan 21, 2009 Models FN9244 and FN9244E, featuring integrated choke for additional EMI suppression on earth line, carry current rating up to 15 A with inductance up to 59.5 mH. With integrated filter and IEC inlet, single-stage products reduce the number of required system components and conserve time when seeking EMI approval ratings or replacing system components. Each RoHS-compliant model is UL-, CSA-, and ENEC-approved and available with multiple mounting options.

Power Quality Filters help calm harmonic waves.

Schaffner EMC, Inc.    Edison, NJ 08837
Jul 22, 2008 ECOsine(TM) load-applied passive harmonic filters are suited for 3-phase power electronics with 6-pulse rectifier front ends. With total harmonic current distortion of under 5%, products guarantee compliance with IEEE 519 and other international power quality standards. Two ranges are available, one for 380-500 V, 50 Hz grids (FN 3410 series) and one for 440-480 V, 60 Hz systems (FN 3412 series). Plug-and-play concept facilitates installation, wiring, and commissioning.

Inlet Filters feature earth line choke.

Schaffner EMC, Inc.    Edison, NJ 08837
Apr 23, 2008 Model FN9233E IEC inlet filter includes earth line choke that helps reduce interference signals on ground wire. They are designed for maximum continuous operating voltage of 250 Vac, 50/60 Hz and frequency range of DC to 400 Hz. Also featuring current rating of 1-15 A at 50°C maximum as well as operating temperature range of -25 to +85°C, devices have MTBF of 1,710,000 hr at 40°C/230 V. Units are available in hot inlet versions or low leakage current versions suited for medical applications.

Inlet Filter Series offers attenuation of 6 dB.

Schaffner EMC, Inc.    Edison, NJ 08837
Jan 23, 2008 Offering high symmetrical and asymmetrical attenuation performance, FN9233 IEC inlet filter series is designed for devices and switching power supply units that require high level of interference suppression. Featuring maximum continuous operating voltage of 250 Vac, 50/60 Hz, frequency range of dc to 400 Hz, and current rating of 1-15 A at 40°C. With choice of output connections and mounting options, series includes snap-in versions and standard or wide mounting flanges.

Inlet Filter optimizes attenuation performance.

Schaffner EMC, Inc.    Edison, NJ 08837
Jan 09, 2008 Featuring earth link choke, Model FN9222E targets applications requiring optimized attenuation performance or additional attenuation on ground wire. Unit is suited for max continuous operating voltage of 250 Vac, and is rated from 1-15 A at 50°C with operating frequency of DC-400 Hz and temperature range of -25 to +85°C. Featuring traditional screw mounting, filter supports electrical, household appliance, test and measurement, and electric data processing applications.
Plastic EMC Filters offer minimal filter leakage current.

Plastic EMC Filters offer minimal filter leakage current.

Schaffner EMC, Inc.    Edison, NJ 08837
Nov 28, 2006 Constructed with plastic housing and metal base plate, FN 3025/3026 three-phase EMC filters are rated for currents from 20-50 A and max continuous operating voltages of 3 x 520 Vac. RoHS-compliant products do not require potting compound and feature hinged transparent safety covers and electrical connections based on motor drive technology. While FN 3025 filters are suited for screw mounting, FN 3026 filters are optimized for mounting on TS 35 DIN-rails.
