Hard and aggressive abrasive filaments, combined with construction method, help extend brush life. Abrasive filament brushing tools are mounted on molded, composite cores and backing materials. Uses include honing carbide cutting tools and finishing harder metals as well as deburring and finishing glass, ceramic, and aerospace alloys.

Feb 01, 2013 At one end of Tri-Ten U-Series system, parts are placed on magnetic conveyor that carries them through first offset planetary deburring head where three 10 in. fiber abrasive disc brushes deburr upward facing surface. Parts then pass through second planetary head before being captured by turn-over conveyor that flips parts. After both sides are deburred, they are demagnetized, and pass under rinse and air knife. System is also equipped with mist collection system and coolant filtration system.

For non-ferrous parts, systems can be designed using alternate part fixturing methods.
