Low Surface Tension Coating protects against dents.

Low Surface Tension Coating protects against dents.

Ames Rubber Corp.    Hamburg, NJ 07419
Feb 25, 2009 Suited for high-speed digital printing/copying machines in monochrome/color environments, AMESCoat Dent Resistant Coating (DRC) Technology can be applied to substrates such as steel and aluminum inserts as well as stainless steel, nickel, and polyimide belts. Construction consists of top layer made from Fluropolymer (20-50 micron film) and bottom layer comprised of silicone, with 0.25-2.0 mm thickness, thermal conductivity range of 0.3-.08 W/mk, and hardness range of 20-70 Shore A.

Gasketing Systems target fuel cell seal applications.

Ames Rubber Corp.    Hamburg, NJ 07419
Oct 08, 2008 AMESSeal(TM) Form-In-Place gasketing systems are suited for Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM), Direct Methanol (DMFC), and Phosphoric Acid (PAFC) fuel cells. Its programmable liquid delivery system automatically dispenses and bonds thin bead of low-durometer elastomers directly onto metal, graphite, or polymer substrates. Beads with height tolerance of ±.05 mm are applied in various sizes with height-to-width ratios from 1:1.5-1:6. Adhesion levels can be tailored to specific sealing needs.

Coating protects aircraft components from effects of FOD.

Ames Rubber Corporation    Hamburg, NJ 07419
Aug 20, 2008 Protecting aircraft components from erosion, heat, ice, and chemicals, AMESShield coating contains ice-phobic characteristics to resist forming and facilitating shedding of ice. It is suited for metal, elastomers, plastics, and aircraft composite materials. Ames coating abilities include non-electrostatic and electrostatic-based systems capable of applying uniform thicknesses of coatings ranging from few microns to 20-30 mil, with typical applications using 20 layers of .5 mil each.
