Cell back plate is water-cooled and body is insulated as is vernier scale adjustment on front of cell. Path length may be continuously adjusted from 0.05-5 mm and reproduced within 0.001 mm. In addition, cell may be adjusted to provide precise intensity for exact location of both weak and strong bands.
