There are no external magnets, electric strikes, or electric trims; everything is contained in rim device. Latch retraction operates with access control system for authorized personnel, bypassing delayed egress to allow exit/entry without sounding alarm. Unauthorized entry triggers 100 dB alarm and keeps door locked for 15 sec.
