PurePower(TM) PW1000G engine features gear system allowing engine's fan to operate at different speed than low-pressure compressor and turbine. It is designed for use in Mitsubishi Regional Jet and Bombardier CSeries. Selected to power Citation Columbus business jet, PurePower PW810C incorporates fan, compressor, turbine, and low-emissions TALON(TM) combustion system. Both centerline engines feature efficient fuel burn and are capable of operating on alternative fuels.
