Dual-tier rack combines 2 sample holders in inclined configuration, providing irradiance uniformity across entire vertical exposure area. Each specimen opening is 4 x 14.5 cm, which offers space to take instrumental color measurements. Consistent distribution of irradiance and temperature as well as the incorporation of optical and temperature sensors lend to overall accuracy. Max irradiance levels are greater than 1.55 UVA and greater than 1.23 UVB, and device also has frame-integrated float switch and viewing window.

Utilizing Daystar DS-100C, which auto-scales to 600 V and has 10 and 100 A current ranges, I-V Curve tracing service measures functionality of modules/arrays. Tracer can normalize, plot, analyze, and print I-V curves. Both services are offered by Solar/PV Center of Excellence in Phoenix, Arizona.
