TVS Diode Array protects data lines from transients.

TVS Diode Array protects data lines from transients.

Littelfuse, Inc.    Des Plaines, IL 60016
Apr 12, 2013 With dynamic resistance of 0.3 Ω, max clamping voltage of 18 V, and capacitance of 6 pF from I/O to GND, SR05 Series protects telecommunication and industrial equipment against ESD and lightning-induced surge events. Each channel or I/O pin can safely absorb up to 25 A and repeated ESD strikes without performance degradation. Typical applications include protecting T1/E1/T3/E3 lines, Ethernet 10BaseT lines, WAN/LAN equipment, ISDN S/T interfaces, video lines, and USB1.1 ports.

Apr 02, 2013 Integrating low capacitance steering diodes with additional zener diode, SRDA05 Series protects telecommunications data lines against ESD and high surge events. Typical applications include tertiary (IC side) protection for T1/E1/T3/E3 data lines, xDSL interfaces, RS-232/RS-485 interfaces, 10/100/1000 Ethernet interfaces, and video lines. Along with peak pulse power rating of 600 W (8/20 µsec), series is rated for surges to 30 A, power dissipation to 600 W, and ESD to 30 kV.

Mar 15, 2013 Alternistor Triac (Q6008LH1LED and Q6012LH1LED Series) and QUADRAC (Q6008LTH1LED and Q6012LTH1LED Series) Thyristor Power Control Devices are designed for use as switch in dimmer circuit to adjust light output of LED bulbs and strings. Products let designers of AC line-based dimmers for LED lighting accommodate range of operating parameters without reducing reliability or dimmer performance. Consequently, single control device can be used for LED-based dimmers or for combination dimmers.

Mar 15, 2013 Providing high energy absorption capability and resistance to temperature cycling, LV UltraMOV™ Series protects low voltage DC applications against peak surges, including lightning strike interference, system switching transients, and abnormal fast transients from power source. RoHS-compliant units are lead-free, halogen-free, and available with optional phenolic coating. Operating up to 125°C, varistors are suited for LED lighting drivers, mobile phone chargers, and security systems.
Hermetically Sealed Fuses are certified intrinsically safe.

Mar 14, 2013 Designed for 125 V applications in electrical equipment used in hazardous locations, PICO® 259-UL913 Series is certified under UL913 Safety Standard for Intrinsically Safe Apparatus and Associated Apparatus for Use in Class I, II, and III, Division 1, Hazardous (Classified) Locations. Encapsulant prevents heat and sparks from being exposed to hazardous gases or dust in environment. With current ratings from 62 mA to 5 A, RoHS-compliant fuses also meet ATEx, IECEx, and Baseefa requirements.

Feb 20, 2013 Housed in SOD-323 package that fits 0805 footprint, unidirectional SD05 and bidirectional SD05C protect electronic equipment from damage due to ESD and other transient events. Units offer dynamic resistance of 0.5 and 0.6 Ω, respectively, and can safely dissipate induced surge currents up to 30 A. Unlike ceramic devices, 450 W products are made of silicon diodes which have no inherent wear-out factor. Applications include buttons/keypads, switches, DC power ports, and other low-speed I/Os.

Feb 08, 2013 Optimized for protecting chipsets on high-speed data lines such as USB 3.0 and HDMI, SP3012-06UTG safely absorbs repetitive ESD strikes above maximum level specified in IEC61000-4-2 international standard (Level 4) without performance degradation. Dynamic resistance of just 0.4 Ω lowers clamping voltage for reliable chipset performance in field. Supplied in 3.5 x 1.35 x 0.5 mm µDFN-14 package, product offers 0.5 pF capacitance and lets PCB traces to run directly underneath device.

Jan 31, 2013 Housed in DO-221AC package measuring less than 1.1 mm high, TPSMA6L Series can provide secondary transient voltage protection from transients induced by load dump and other events in automotive electronic control units, sensors, entertainment systems, and other high reliability applications. SMA devices are IEC 61000-4-2 and IEC 61000-4-4 compliant as well as AEC-Q101 qualified, which enables use in harsh automotive environments without additional component level qualification testing.

Subminiature Fuse protects against overcurrent conditions.

Littelfuse, Inc.    Des Plaines, IL 60016
Jan 24, 2013 With 250 Vac/450 Vdc rating, 808 Series TE5® Fast Acting Subminiature Fuse protects components or internal circuits against overcurrent conditions. Interrupt rating/breaking capacity up to 10 kA @ 450 Vdc ensures fuse will open safely under high fault currents. Available in quantities of 1,000 in tape and ammopack, short lead, and 7.5 mm pitch packaging, this RoHS-compliant, halogen-free, and lead (Pb)-free fuse operates over -65 to +125°C range and suits high-voltage DC applications.

TVS Diode Arrays protect integrated circuits from ESD.

Littelfuse, Inc.    Des Plaines, IL 60016
Dec 12, 2012 Supplied in 0402 package requiring 1.0 x 0.6 x 0.55 mm board space, Models SP1005-01ETG and SP1007-01ETG feature dynamic resistance of 0.7 and 1.9 Ω, respectively. ESD capability of ±30 kV for SP1005-01ETG and ±8 kV for SP1007-01ETG allows manufacturers to claim ESD protection above max rating in IEC61000-4-2 standard, while low leakage current rating of 0.1 µA at 5 V minimizes drain on Li-ion battery packs. Applications include protection of keypads, buttons, and switches on consumer electronics.
