May 07, 2013 Super-Heat ™ 502-676 Magnesium Oxide Ceramic Crucibles are manufactured with full-fired, 99% pure material used in processing high-temperature refractory metals, slags, and superconductor compounds. Products feature high-density, fine-grain microstructure with open porosity of less than 1% and average density of 3.45 g/cc. They are available in stock and custom shapes with up to 7 in. dia, 12 in. length, and wall thickness of 0.2 in. maximum.

Apr 09, 2013 Suited for use in production of electronic and high vacuum components, Pyro-Duct™ 597-C is formulated using high purity silver flake with D50 particle size of less than 20 microns. All constituents are electrically and thermally conductive, and volume resistivity is 0.0002 Ω-cm at room temperature. Applied by brush, dipping, or spray gun, this single-component system adheres to ceramic and glass substrates and dries at room temperature in ~1 hr. Full cure takes 30 min at 480°F.

Jan 23, 2013 Available in 7 ½ x 1 ¼ x 5/8 in. bars, Crystalbond™ 590 offers thermal and mechanical stability and is used to bond advanced ceramics, circuit boards, optical components, and semiconductors for dicing and polishing operations. Application is accomplished by preheating mounting plate to 300°F, melting and spreading adhesive in uniform layer, positioning part, and allowing assembly to cool. After machining, Crystalbond is dissolved in ultrasonic bath using isopropyl alcohol.

Dec 18, 2012 As single-part, phenolic-bonded, graphite-based, and fiber-reinforced adhesive, Graphi-Bond™ 551-RN may be used to bond, fill, and repair carbon-carbon and graphite components and fixtures used in reducing atmospheres to 5,400°F. Coefficient of thermal expansion, 4.1 ppm x 10-6/°F, matches most grades of carbon and graphite. After setting at room temperature for 1–2 hr and curing at 265°F for 2–4 hr, material demonstrates moisture resistance and tensile-shear strength in range of 1,100 psi.

Nov 14, 2012 Offering tensile shear strength of 4,560 psi, Aremco-Bond™ 2300 consists of 100% solids epoxy mixed in ratio of 10 parts resin to 1 part hardener by weight. Mixed viscosity is 5,000 cP and pot life for 100 g mass is approximately 45 min. Milky-clear product provides resistance to acids, alkalis, organic fluids, and salts. Supplied in pint, quart, and gallon kits, adhesive is suited for bonding engineered thermoplastics, ceramic wear tiles, and sheet molding compounds.

Oct 26, 2012 Fabricated using silica ceramic cloth combined with adhesive backing layer, Pyro-Tape 682-TB is available for insulating pipes, doors, and ductwork. Thermally insulative tape is rated to 2,500°F and provides thermal conductivity of 1.00 Btu-in./hr-ft²-°F. Available in several sizes, tape is suitable for combustion systems, incinerators, heat exchangers, exhaust systems, and boilers. Pyro-Tape 682-TB1 is 0.030 in. thick x 1, 2, or 4 in. while Pyro-Tape 682-TB2 is 0.054 in. thick x 1, 2, or 4 in.

Oct 12, 2012 Consisting of water-dispersed, aluminum-phosphate binder, Ceramabind™ 542 is suited for hardening and sealing porous refractories and thermal spray coatings. Inert, electrically and chemically resistant material will not outgas in ultra high vacuum. It is formulated to viscosity of 40-50 cP with 40.0-45.0% solids content by weight and specific gravity of 1.47 g/cc. Applied by brush, spatula, spray gun, or syringe, product cures fully in 1 hr at 700°F or in-situ during equipment operation.

Mixed in ratio of 1 part base resin to 1 part activator by weight, Aremco-Bond™ 860 exhibits optimal adhesion to high temperature plastics such as polyimides and composites, as well as ceramics, glass, and high expansion metals. Aluminum nitride filled epoxy cures in 24 hr at room temperature or in 2 hr at 200°F. After curing, product exhibits thermal conductivity of 8.5 Btu-in./hr-ft²-°F and dielectric strength of 250 V/mil. Epoxy is intended for electrical and electronic bonding applications.

Sep 14, 2012 Offering resistance to thermal shock, chemical corrosion, and water immersion, Aremco-Bond™ 2330 is suited for industrial bonding applications to 570°F. Single-part, red pigmented adhesive provides tensile shear strength of 425 psi, coefficient of thermal expansion of 94 x 10-6 in./in./°F, and viscosity of 38,000 cP at room temperature. Spread with plastic applicator or automatic dispense system, product cures by heating to 300°F for 45 min or 400°F for 30 min.

Aug 30, 2012 Formulated using nickel flake filler, 2-part Aremco-Bond(TM) 614 is available for electrical and electronic assembly applications to 360°F (continuous) or 400°F (intermittent). Volume resistivity is less than 0.025 ohm-cm at room temperature, and thermal conductivity is 0.5 W/m-°K. With mixed viscosity range of 100,000-110,000 cP, adhesive exhibits 2,500 psi tensile shear strength and 78 Shore D hardness. Product sets at room temperature in 24 hr or can be heat-cured in 2 hr at 100°F.
