Jun 09, 2014 Formulated for bonding and coating mica, glass-ceramics, and metals, Ceramabond™ 632 features dielectric strength of 150 V/mil at room temperature, coefficient of thermal expansion of 4.7 ppm/°F, and viscosity of 10,000–25,000 cp. Specific gravity is 1.45–1.50 g/cc and pH is 11.0. Applied using brush, syringe, or pneumatic dispenser, mica-filled adhesive sets rapidly at room temperature and step cures at 200°F and 500°F for 2 hours each. Cured material resists most acids, solvents, and fuels.

May 14, 2014 Inorganic, water-dispersed Ceramabind™ 643-1, resistant to temperatures to 3,000°F, mixes with range of oxide and metallic powders into inert, electrically, chemically, and wear-resistant material that will not outgas under ultra high vacuum (UHV). Typical uses include formulating corrosion protective coatings for high-temperature metal structures as well as producing chemically resistant adhesives and patching compounds. Viscosity is 50–60 cP, and solids content by weight is 30.0–35.0%.

Apr 30, 2014 Used to coat lighting fixtures and industrial process equipment up to applications of 1,100°F, Corr-Paint™ CP4040 single-part, white-pigmented, silicone-based water-dispersible coating system adheres to glass, quartz, ceramic, as well as carbon and stainless steel. Coating dries at room temperature and can be cured in-situ or more rapidly at 450°F in 1 hr or 480ºF in 45 min. Cured coating is color stable at high temperatures and resistant to oxidation, UV light, humidity, and salt spray.

Mar 19, 2014 Consisting of single-part, 100% solids, thermally conductive, silicone grease, Heat-Away™ 640 is used in heat transfer applications from -60 to 550°F. Product is formulated as thick paste that will not flow after application and maintains stable viscosity over entire temperature range. With thermal conductivity of 4.68 W/m-K, grease optimizes thermal transfer between heaters and process vessels and various heat sinks used in heat exchangers in electrical and electronic applications.

Two-part, electrically and thermally conductive adhesive exhibits low volume resistivity of less than 0.0001 Ω-cm at room temperature and thermal conductivity of 2.2 W/m-°K. Product offers tensile shear strength of 1,700 psi, Shore D hardness of 90, and viscosity range of 40,000–45,000 cP.

Nov 25, 2013 Used for bonding, potting, tooling, and molding, Aremco-Bond™ 805 adheres to high-temperature plastics, glass, ceramic, and high-expansion metals. This 2-component, 100% solids, aluminum-filled epoxy cures at room temperature in 24 hr with final cure at 200°F in 2 hr. Cured material exhibits thermal conductivity of 12.5 Btu-in/hr-ft²-°F and dielectric strength of 50 V/mil. Respective tensile shear and flexural strengths are 1,800 and 15,500 psi, and Shore D Hardness is 87.

Single-part, aluminum-rich formula dries and cures at room temperature to hard, non-porous, abrasion-resistant surface. With viscosity of 300-600 cP and specific gravity of 1.08 g/cc, product is also resistant to wide range of acids, bases, fuels, and solvents.

Sep 26, 2013 Adhering to graphite, ceramic cloth, and fiberboard, Pyro-Paint™ 634-AS is used to bond, coat, and seal graphite and refractory materials used in molten metal fluid handling components and structures in foundry applications to 2,300°F. Alumina-silica, fiber-reinforced, ceramic coating also prevents wear and oxidation of graphite impellers at melt line in handling of molten aluminum. Product is formulated with solids content of 61.2% by weight and 63.3% by volume to 400–700 cP viscosity range.

Sep 13, 2013 Applied by dipping, brushing, or spraying, Aremco-Seal™ 617 single-part, water-based, glass coating is used to produce hermetic seals in porous ceramics and refractories in electrical and high-vacuum applications. Cure is accomplished by drying 200°F for 30 min, 350°F for 60 min, and final curing at 1,650°F for 3–5 min. Odorless sealant cleans up prior to curing with warm water and does not contain any VOCs. No outgassing will occur upon curing or during operation.

Aug 27, 2013 Demonstrating emissivity greater than 0.90 at temperatures to 2,500°F, HiE-Coat™ 840-C helps combustion chambers, ovens, and furnaces distribute heat uniformly. Jet-black, water-based ceramic coating is applied to ceramic and refractory surfaces using sponge brush, roller, or conventional spray equipment. Curing is accomplished in operation or by heating for 1–2 hours at 200°F. Odorless and water-soluble, HiE-Coat™ 840-C contains no VOCs and will not outgas upon curing or during operation.
